Instructions for Use of Tapcon® Concrete Screws

Purchase Tapcon Screws OnlineDetermine the appropriate length concrete screw for your project

  1. Add:
    The thickness of material to be fastened
    -to-
    The minimum embedment required
    (Choose a screw of that length or longer.)
  2. Drill your hole using the bit included in the application kit, 1/4” deeper than the anticipated anchor embedment.
  3. Insert the head of the TapCon® anchor into a hex or phillips socket.
  4. Put the point of the concrete screw anchor into your pre-drilled hole.
  5. Turn until the anchor is fully seated.
